Community. Camaraderie.

What We Do

Home » What We Do

The objectives of the Pollock Men’s Club shall be to promote and improve the Town of Pollock and the surrounding area, and to promote individual improvement among its members.

There are a couple of main activity we sponsor every year. The most important (and most time consuming) are the Annual Summer and Annual Winter Fishing Tournaments. That is always the third full weekend in June and the last weekend in January.

We also sponsor a Pancake and Sausage meal every year in honor of our local veterans and Veterans Day and the annual Kiddie Olympics during the Dairy/Ag Days Celebration.

Other than that, we do as much as possible “to promote the Town of Pollock and the surrounding area.” Some things that we have done in the past few years include planting trees in the Pollock parks, helping with fundraisers/benefits for individuals/causes as they arise, cleaning ditches along state highways, working with other groups to put up “Welcome to Pollock” signs, assisting with Dairy/Ag Days and other similar events, assisting with more major projects, such as construction of the Visitor/Interpretive Center on Main Street, the old jail which houses the antique fire truck, the gazebo in the park just north of Main Street, new roofs on the picnic shelters in the north park area, etc.
